What you'll do

• Perform decontamination, assembly, sterilization, storage, and distribution of patient-care instruments and supplies
• maintain inventory and use resources prudently
• follow hospital safety and infection-prevention policies
• document shift activity and report discrepancies
• comply with quality-control, quality-assurance, preventive-maintenance, and regulatory requirements
• participate in quality improvement
• assist with training new staff
• work collaboratively to meet departmental goals.
