The Material Handler – First Shift role is onsite in Sheboygan Falls, WI, with starting pay of $22.50 per hour. The position is part of Amerhart’s Operations team, supporting shipping, receiving, and warehouse stocking for Specialty Building Products, a distributor of specialty building products. The role helps keep warehouse orders accurate and moving safely by receiving and replenishing products, picking and preparing orders, and coordinating shipment details. Accurate scanning, packaging, and safe loading support timely fulfillment for customers and warehouse operations.

What you'll do

• Unload common carrier trucks and railroad cars
• replenish warehouse product
• pick orders using a forklift
• report shortages or damaged material
• coordinate order changes with sales
• use handheld scanners for receiving, picking, loading, and cycle counts
• band, wrap, and prepare material for shipping
• arrange truck loads for safe weight distribution
• perform routine warehouse and yard cleaning
• inspect forklifts before daily operation
• cross-train and back up warehouse colleagues.

Why this role

Scheduled hours are Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM CST, and Friday, 6:00 AM–12:00 PM CST. High school diploma and 1–2 years of warehouse experience are required; distributorship experience is preferred.
