The Security Guard — Shopping Mall Patrol Response is a part-time, onsite role in Bethesda, Maryland. Pay is $21 per hour. The position provides security and facility services at an assigned retail site for Allied Universal. The guard supports a safe and welcoming environment by assisting tenants, shoppers, visitors, and staff; conducting foot or vehicle patrols; monitoring access and activity; and responding calmly to incidents. The assigned Thursday shift is 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.; additional shifts may be picked up through the scheduling platform, and the fixed-shift assignment requires a six-month commitment.

What you'll do

• Provide customer service and follow site-specific security procedures
• respond to incidents and disturbances and escalate concerns according to site procedures
• conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols in retail common areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas
• monitor access points and report suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations
• direct visitors, provide information, and document incidents.
