What you'll do

• Follow up with insurance carriers on outstanding balances
• resubmit claims with appropriate remarks or attachments
• file reconsideration letters for payment or denial disputes
• validate payments, discounts, and contractual adjustments
• respond to insurer correspondence
• run eligibility checks and correct claims
• gather documents for regulatory audits
• review and resolve credit balances and refund requests
• answer calls about patient or insurance issues.
