Child Abuse Medical Provider (MD or DO)

What you'll do

• Provide child abuse assessment and consultation services
• conduct forensic medical examinations
• determine medical and social needs and make recommendations
• complete medical documentation, photo documentation, and reports
• consult on suspicious physical injury cases referred under Karly’s Law
• participate in multidisciplinary case reviews
• provide expert and fact witness testimony as required
• assist with medical policies and protocols
• complete at least eight hours of annual continuing medical education
• share call-phone duties at least one week per month.
