The Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), School-Based Therapeutic Day Treatment role is onsite in Chesterfield, VA, with pay of $20–$26 per hour. A New Legacy Family Services provides person-centered therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults in the Greater Richmond and Hopewell areas. The counselor provides structured therapeutic and behavior-management support to youth in a school setting. The role manages a client caseload, coordinates care with families and school contacts, develops person-centered treatment plans, documents progress, and models appropriate behaviors and strategies.

What you'll do

• Provide at least two therapeutic and/or behavior-management interventions per day based on service-plan goals
• manage a school-based caseload
• coordinate care with parents, teachers, and other providers
• develop person-centered treatment plans with youth
• maintain daily progress notes, service plans, and quarterly reports
• model appropriate behaviors and strategies.
