Wrestling Head Coach

Job overview

The Wrestling Head Coach role is onsite in Barrow, Alaska. Compensation is not specified; payment is per negotiated agreement and may be prorated based on completion of responsibilities. The coach reports to the building principal and/or athletic/activities director and supports school athletics and activities. The coach prepares student athletes for interscholastic competition by teaching wrestling skills, fundamentals, strategy, rules, and technique. The role also oversees practices, athlete safety and supervision, equipment, required forms and training, and communication with students, families, and school administrators.

What you'll do

• Train athletes and prepare them for interscholastic competition

• follow safety procedures and applicable policies
• manage equipment and uniforms
• complete participation and consent forms
• supervise athletes during activities and travel
• complete season-end inventory and reports.
