Plastic Quality Operator

Job overview

The Plastic Quality Operator is an onsite, full-time role in Daleville, VA, working Monday–Friday from 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.; weekend overtime may be needed. Compensation is $21 per hour. Eldor Automotive Powertrain USA’s Plastics Quality department operates within a production facility making automotive ignition system components. The operator inspects parts to confirm output and product quality, performs in-process and outgoing tests, and communicates abnormal conditions for resolution. The role also documents defects, supports material release in SAP, and maintains equipment and workplace 5S conditions.

What you'll do

• Check equipment and products throughout the shift
• maintain 5S conditions
• perform in-process and outgoing testing according to the quality control plan
• process material release in SAP
• identify, separate, record, and report defects
• ensure documentation and instructions are available and understood
• communicate abnormal conditions to supervisors and plastics operators and technicians.
