The Certified Medical Assistant role is onsite in Fort Walton Beach, FL, with pay of $18–$25 per hour. Northwest Florida ENT is a specialty clinic supporting one physician and three physician assistants. The assistant supports patient care and clinic operations by helping manage patient flow, performing assigned tests and clinical tasks, assisting providers, maintaining records, coordinating appointments and communications, and keeping rooms and equipment clean and ready.

What you'll do

• Use the electronic health record
• organize patient flow
• perform allergy testing and pulmonary function tests
• assist with exams and procedures
• collect histories and specimens
• chart and relay instructions
• handle calls and post-operative follow-up
• coordinate records, referrals, appointments, and insurance verification
• clean, sterilize, and restock rooms and equipment.
