What you'll do

• Enforce Union Pacific Railroad safety policies
• assist in responding to problems
• deter and detect burglaries of loaded containers
• inspect containers, trailers, and inbound and outbound trains for seal exceptions, open doors, and trespassers
• notify Union Pacific Police about unsealed loaded containers
• stop and identify non-employees and private vehicles on the intermodal ramp and right of way
• inspect high-value shipments
• patrol fences and gates
• escort and inspect inbound trains
• conduct directed foot patrols
• request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.
