Certified Medical Assistant

The Certified Medical Assistant role is onsite and floats between Silverdale and Gig Harbor, WA. Pay is $21–$30 per hour, depending on experience. The position supports Peninsula Pain Clinic, a pain-management provider serving the Olympic and Kitsap Peninsula region. The medical assistant works alongside a provider to support patient care, procedures, and daily clinic operations. The role prepares patients, maintains records, coordinates appointments and follow-up, and helps process referrals, authorizations, and prescription refill requests.

What you'll do

• Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs, documenting medical history, and reviewing medications
• assist providers during exams and minor procedures
• collect and prepare laboratory specimens
• maintain patient records in the EMR
• answer phones and route messages
• schedule appointments and follow-ups
• process referrals, prior authorizations, and prescription refill requests.
