Backend Software Engineer, Distribution

The Backend Software Engineer, Distribution role is onsite five days a week in Washington, DC, with a base salary of $150,000–$220,000 per year plus equity. The engineer will build Rune Technologies’ TyrOS logistics platform for military users.

What you'll do

• Own backend architecture and services for routing, dispatch, shipment execution, and dynamic replanning
• translate military logistics workflows into domain models, APIs, and event-driven systems
• reconcile inventory, demand, transportation capacity, and constraints
• integrate optimization and planning into operational software
• work with military users and domain experts.
