Mission Operations Lead

Compensation is $0 per year. The Mission Operations Lead role is onsite in Austin, TX, with plans to move to Cedar Park, TX in early 2027. The role supports testing and demonstrations for Aeon’s Zeus missile system, advancing the company’s defense technology and customer objectives. The lead owns the lifecycle of flight tests, ground tests, and government and customer demonstrations, from range coordination and planning through field execution and post-test analysis. The role coordinates cross-functional teams and operational resources to conduct safe, effective events and deliver useful test data and customer confidence.

What you'll do

• Plan and coordinate flight tests, ground tests, and demonstrations
• secure test ranges
• develop test plans, CONOPS, schedules, and range requests
• serve as Test Director during events
• lead field teams and readiness reviews
• maintain mission equipment readiness
• manage safety, security, compliance, logistics, budgets, data collection, and post-test reporting
• and develop mission operations processes and personnel.
