The Prototype Advanced Setup Operator | Machinist role is onsite in Clarence, NY, and pays $28–$35 per hour. The role works with engineering and other departments to build prototypes and support production at Dynabrade. The machinist applies CNC and manual machining, programming, and setup skills to prototype work and may machine or design assembly and inspection fixtures. The position contributes to turning engineering drawings into prototype parts and supporting product development and production needs.

What you'll do

• Operate mills and lathes with 4th and C axes
• program equipment and perform setup operations and prototyping
• machine prototypes using CNC and manual machines
• work from blueprints
• perform inspection, quality, and safety tasks
• use CAM software and maintain equipment through preventive and routine maintenance.
