Scientific Communication Lead

The Scientific Communication Lead role is hybrid in Rockville, MD, with the option for full remote work. Compensation is $75,000–$95,000 per year. Digital Infuzion supports a National Institutes of Health Data Coordination Services program and communicates research network accomplishments to scientific and public audiences. The lead develops outreach programs and written and visual content that makes biomedical research information accessible to scientific, clinical, government, and patient communities. The role coordinates communication products and outreach with project leaders and contributes to conference and event design as appropriate.

What you'll do

• Build familiarity with multi-center research consortia, clinical and translational sciences, infectious diseases, and vaccine development
• lead creation of newsletters, web and social media content, articles, figures, infographics, and other communication products
• track development and dissemination of products and outreach activities with project leaders
• provide input on conference and event design as appropriate
• participate in Agile project management meetings and ceremonies.
