Distribution and Inventory Control Lead — Second Shift

The Distribution and Inventory Control Lead role is onsite in New Carlisle, OH, with pay of $25–$28 per hour. The role leads warehouse operations for United Performance Metals. The lead is responsible for safe, compliant, accurate, and efficient warehouse performance, developing employees and driving continuous improvement to support customer delivery and operating goals.

What you'll do

• Lead warehouse safety, housekeeping, 5S/Lean, delivery, efficiency, cost control, inventory accuracy, shipping, receiving, employee development, and compliance
• set goals and conduct reviews with Operations and HR
• ensure OSHA and EPA compliance
• execute shipment schedules and track KPIs
• pursue cost savings
• standardize inventory processes
• enforce ISO requirements and company ethics policies.

Why this role

Second shift schedule: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 p.m.–1:30 a.m. Associate degree or equivalent experience; Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt certification required or an identified certification path; five or more years of leadership and warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution operations experience.
