The Chemical Mill Scriber — Aerospace role is an onsite, full-time position in Wichita, KS, on the first shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. Pay is $18–$30 per hour. The role supports a local aircraft component manufacturing company. The position prepares aircraft components for chemical milling by accurately transferring engineering requirements to metal parts. Precise layouts, inspection, traceability, and coordination with Quality, Engineering, and Production help maintain manufacturing quality and workflow.

What you'll do

• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, work orders, and specifications
• lay out and scribe aircraft components
• mark chemical milling boundaries and material removal areas
• verify dimensions and part orientation
• inspect layouts
• prepare parts for chemical milling
• maintain part identification, traceability, and production records
• coordinate with Quality, Engineering, and Production
• report nonconforming conditions and process deviations
• follow safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
