Job overview

The Dedicated Caregiver role is onsite in the Wayne and Macomb County area, MI, and compensation is $15.50–$23.25 per hour. BrightStar Care provides in-home care and day-to-day assistance to seniors and older adults in their homes, with some facility-based assignments also noted. The caregiver assists clients with personal care, mobility, and transportation to errands and appointments, while following the plan of care and reporting observed changes to the Director of Nursing. The role supports clients’ daily needs and provides companionship and assistance in home or facility settings.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers
• accompany clients to grocery stores, doctor appointments, and pharmacy visits
• assist with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care
• document observed changes and report them to the Director of Nursing.

Why this role

CNA is preferred but not required; Home Health Aide will be considered. Requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification and a negative TB test or chest X-ray, a licensed driver with insured reliable automobile, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
