Refrigeration Mechanic (Ammonia Operator) at Kellanova in Mountain View, CA. This is a night shift, onsite position. This role is responsible for maintaining and operating industrial refrigeration systems and facility equipment, performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and refrigeration-related issues, and responding to equipment breakdowns.

What you'll do

• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on facility and ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Support the operation and monitoring of ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and refrigeration-related issues.
• Respond quickly to equipment and system issues, including refrigeration and utility systems.
• Understand, follow, and enforce all safety, PSM, food safety, and company policies.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, system performance, and maintenance processes.

What we're looking for

Education

High school diploma or GED

Experience

High school diploma or GED. Ammonia Operator Level 2 or 3 certification, or equivalent experience. Experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems in a PSM-regulated environment.
