Security Officer – Field Patrol

The Security Officer – Field Patrol role is onsite in Council Bluffs, IA, with full-time overnight shifts Friday through Sunday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM. Compensation is $21 per hour. Allied Universal provides security and facility services to clients and communities. The unarmed patrol officer monitors assigned industrial and construction areas, verifies access, documents activity, and responds professionally to incidents. The role helps deter incidents and maintain a secure, orderly environment for clients, contractors, visitors, and employees.

What you'll do

• Provide customer service while carrying out security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities
• conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of work areas, access points, parking, equipment storage, and perimeter
• verify visitor and contractor authorization
• maintain activity logs and incident documentation
• respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations
• report hazards, unauthorized activity, damaged property, and security concerns.
