Weekend Sanitation Lead is an onsite, full-time, exempt role in Liberty, SC, working Friday through Sunday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Compensation is not specified. The role supports the Sanitation Department at U.S. Waffle’s food manufacturing facility. The role exists to lead sanitation operations during assigned weekend shifts and ensure equipment and facility areas are cleaned and ready for quality inspection and production startup. It contributes to food safety and operational readiness through team direction, compliance checks, corrective actions, documentation, and coordination with Quality, Production, Maintenance, and Sanitation Management.

What you'll do

• Direct and support sanitation employees
• assign work areas
• monitor sanitation activities
• ensure compliance with SSOPs, GMPs, allergen controls, and food safety requirements
• oversee chemical handling and required titrations
• inspect areas before quality pre-operational review
• address deficiencies and verify corrective actions
• protect equipment and report maintenance concerns
• complete sanitation records and shift reports
• train and coach employees
• communicate shift status and handoffs.
