CNC Lathe / Mill-Turn Machinist – Night or Day Shift

The CNC Lathe / Mill-Turn Machinist role is onsite in Maple Grove, MN, with night- and day-shift openings and flexible hours; night shift is the priority opening. Pay is $35–$42 per hour, depending on experience. The machinist joins a precision job shop serving aerospace, defense, medical, and microelectronics customers. The machinist sets up and operates CNC lathes and multi-axis mill-turn machines to produce short-run, high-precision parts. The role owns work from setup through inspection, helping meet tight tolerances and quality requirements across varied jobs.

What you'll do

• Set up and operate CNC lathes and multi-axis mill-turn machines
• edit programs at the control and prove out new jobs
• select tooling and workholding, set offsets, and adjust feeds and speeds
• inspect parts in process and at final using precision measuring tools
• read blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
• maintain machines, tooling, and the work area.
