Compensation is $33 per hour. The Lead Heavy Duty Mechanic is an onsite role based in Denver, CO. This role exists to ensure the reliability and safe operation of ready-mix trucks and heavy equipment. The mechanic performs preventative maintenance, diagnoses mechanical and hydraulic systems, and collaborates with leadership to maintain a safe shop environment.

What you'll do

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Inspect and listen to machines to identify malfunctions.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Communicate repair updates to shop leadership.
• Operate service trucks.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance.
• Weld and fabricate metal parts.
• Purchase repair parts.
• Provide on-site support at other plants.
• Mentor co-workers.
