Automotive Dealership Service Manager

The Automotive Dealership Service Manager role is onsite in Farmington, Michigan. Compensation is $150,000–$200,000 per year. The position supports the service department at Fox Buick GMC and contributes to Fox Motors’ vision of working together to move people throughout life. The manager leads the service operation to support efficient, profitable performance and a strong customer experience. The role sets department goals, develops staff, monitors performance and costs, ensures warranty-policy compliance, and addresses customer concerns while maintaining repair quality.

What you'll do

• Forecast service department goals and objectives
• hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor staff
• maintain reporting systems
• track department performance using reports, systems, and surveys
• ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures
• facilitate or conduct technical training
• monitor technician productivity and payroll records
• review repair orders before warranty submission
• conduct spot checks of completed repairs
• handle customer complaints according to dealership guidelines.
