Intake Case Manager

Job overview

The Intake Case Manager role is onsite in Saint George, UT, and pays $20 per hour. Friends of Switchpoint serves individuals, families, and veterans experiencing poverty and homelessness, with a mission to support self-sufficiency and stable housing. As the Housing Department’s first point of contact, the case manager screens clients for basic program eligibility, explains housing services and next steps, and connects people with internal staff, partner agencies, and community resources. The role also supports client advocacy, communication, documentation, and continuity of service as clients work toward stable housing.

What you'll do

• Greet clients in person, by phone, and by email
• manage calls, voicemails, and walk-ins
• explain housing programs and resources
• conduct initial eligibility screenings
• distribute and explain applications
• refer clients to staff or partner agencies
• present relevant information to committees
• coordinate client and case-manager communication
• maintain records and intake documentation
• assist with employment resources and referrals to basic-needs services.
