Electro-Mechanical Plant Mechanic

Job overview

The Electro-Mechanical Plant Mechanic role is onsite in Euclid, OH, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; pay is $25–$31 per hour. The role supports a family-owned manufacturer’s production equipment and facility systems. The mechanic maintains and repairs production assets and facility systems so equipment operates reliably. Preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work support ongoing production and larger facility projects.

What you'll do

• Tear down, install, troubleshoot, and repair pumps, motors, cranes, blasting machines, and related equipment
• service electrical and mechanical controls
• install and maintain electrical devices
• support compressed air and natural gas systems
• perform preventive maintenance and maintain written logs
• interpret blueprints and schematics
• maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• thread pipe and solder or braze copper
• fabricate replacement parts
• use voltmeters and ammeters to evaluate circuits.
