Direct Support Professional (DSP)

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) role is onsite in Scarborough, ME, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pay is $20–$27 per hour. Morrison Center provides individualized support services to children and adults with developmental disabilities. The DSP supports clients’ independence, daily living, community participation, and person-centered goals. The role provides hands-on care, assists with transportation and activities, and helps clients maintain their plans of care.

What you'll do

• Provide personal care, including showers, toileting, and dressing
• support clients in reaching and maintaining care-plan goals and activities
• transport clients into the community
• provide hands-on and direct supervision
• assist with transfers and use of lifts as needed.
