Dietitian I PRN, onsite, Chantilly VA. Salary range: $72,758.00 - $130,041.00/Yr. This role provides comprehensive Medical Nutrition Therapy to inpatients with a variety of medical conditions, including performing malnutrition assessments, nutrition-focused physical exams, and providing nutrition support recommendations.

What you'll do

• Consults with and/or makes recommendations to physicians and other allied health professionals regarding patients' nutritional statuses, nutrient needs, or specific diet plans.
• Formulates nutrition assessment, evaluation, and follow-up plans for patients at nutrition risk.
• Recommends and documents patient's nutrition treatment findings and plan in the patient's medical record.
• Consults in/outpatients in diet rationale for self-management.
• Participates in clinical rounds, department/service meetings, and cross-covers in Neonatal ICU and Pediatrics if needed.
• Reviews literature, presents case studies, and maintains professional development.
• Develops education materials, policies, or participates in QAPI projects.
• Provides relief and cross-coverage.
• Maintains credentials and licensure.
