What you'll do

  • Teach traditional Folklorico dance, including regional choreography, rhythm, footwork, skirt work, and partner choreography
  • plan age-appropriate lessons for six-to-eight-week cycles
  • share cultural and historical context
  • prepare participants for showcases or performances
  • monitor attendance and engagement
  • maintain a safe and inclusive environment
  • collaborate on culminating events and request materials in a timely manner.
