Distribution Operations Manager

The Distribution Operations Manager role is onsite in Farmers Branch, TX, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pay is $80,000–$105,000 per year. Hi-Line distributes industrial aftermarket products through a nationwide network of mobile industrial hardware stores. The manager leads distribution center operations across inbound and outbound work, inventory, packaging, and related functions. The role develops staff, maintains safety and quality, and improves operational performance to support customer service and business growth.

What you'll do

• Maintain a cross-trained distribution operations team
• manage inbound, outbound, packaging, stocking, returns, kitting, spooling, equipment operation, and inventory control
• lead quality control
• set priorities, staffing plans, assignments, and performance expectations
• resolve operational, staffing, inventory, quality, and customer-service issues
• plan staffing based on order volume and business needs
• monitor overtime, attendance, scheduling, labor utilization, and expenses
• coach and develop employees
• maintain a safe and compliant workplace
• investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
• conduct performance reviews
• maintain policies and procedures
• improve KPIs
• implement operational improvements
• facilitate team training.
