What you'll do

• Make timely contacts and investigate claims to determine coverage, liability, and damages
• take recorded statements when appropriate
• determine exposure and establish and adjust reserves
• direct internal and external resources and identify additional evidence needs
• identify questionable claims and consult the Special Investigations Unit as appropriate
• determine settlement values and negotiate within authority
• recommend disposition of claims exceeding authority
• and maintain state licensing and continuing education requirements.
