• Develop and maintain an open-to-buy system with buyers

• publish replenishment calendars
• administer vendor-direct purchases
• coordinate with buyers and operations on process improvements
• maintain supplier contacts
• coordinate distribution-center replenishment and new-store purchases
• review merchandise distributions
• forecast needs and order goods
• recommend inter-store transfers
• manage short-supply and obsolete goods
• produce replenishment reports
• maintain system products and supervise Inventory & Replenishment Assistants.
