Service Writer

The Service Writer role is in person in Plaistow, NH, with compensation of $22–$27 per hour. MB Tractor & Equipment’s service writer helps customers understand and coordinate service work. The role manages customer service needs from initial contact through work-order coordination, helping ensure customers receive clear updates on cost, delivery, and service status. It also schedules service mechanics and coordinates with store personnel to support customer satisfaction and safe store operations.

What you'll do

• Communicate with customers by phone and in person about service costs, delivery, and work-order status
• explain additional work and obtain permission. Open and close service work orders using prescribed software and procedures. Schedule and coordinate service mechanics and generate internal Build to Stock work orders. Address customer satisfaction issues and seek supervisor approval when required. May assist in parts or rentals as needed
• coordinate with store personnel and support safe operating practices.
