The 2nd-Shift Rock Truck Driver role is onsite in Wallace, SC. Compensation is $20–$22 per hour. The position supports quarry and mining operations for Ferroglobe USA Quartz, part of a company that supplies silicon metal, specialty alloys, and ferroalloys. The operator hauls stone, rock, and other materials within the site, following safety procedures and production requirements. The role contributes to efficient operations through equipment checks, careful loading and dumping, maintenance coordination, and communication with the operations team.

What you'll do

• Operate a CAT 745 haul truck or comparable equipment to transport materials within the quarry or mining site
• maneuver safely on uneven terrain
• follow safety policies and OSHA/MSHA requirements
• perform pre- and post-operational checks and report concerns or damage
• load and dump materials while observing load limits
• check fluid levels, tires, and components
• coordinate service and repairs
• log operating hours, loads, incidents, and maintenance needs
• communicate with supervisors and team members.
