The Armed Security Officer — Part-Time Day Shift role is onsite at a shelter in San Antonio, TX, on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Compensation is $21.00 per hour. What you'll do

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and service providers
• conduct armed patrols of interior and exterior areas
• respond to incidents and disturbances
• monitor access points and verify authorization when applicable
• document visitor activity, incidents, observations, and actions
• maintain authorized equipment according to laws, licensing requirements, company policies, and site procedures.

Why this role

Requires an Armed Guard Card or license, valid driver’s license, and at least three years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience or five years of armed security-related experience. CPR certification is preferred.
