Quality Manager

The Quality Manager role is onsite in Aurora, IL, with pay of $85,000–$120,000 per year. The role is with a CNC manufacturing job shop and supports consistent conformance of machined products to customer specifications, industry standards, and internal quality requirements. The manager leads the quality management system and coordinates inspection, audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement. Working with production, engineering, management, employees, and customers, the role helps resolve quality issues and maintain manufacturing standards.

What you'll do

• Lead and maintain the QMS
• oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspections
• develop procedures, work instructions, and inspection plans
• conduct internal audits and support customer and third-party audits
• analyze quality data and KPIs
• investigate nonconformances and lead root-cause and corrective/preventive actions
• review customer drawings and requirements
• train and mentor employees
• manage calibration programs
• support customer visits and supplier quality evaluations
• prepare quality reports.
