Dietary Aide

Job overview

The Dietary Aide role is onsite in Warsaw, NY, with pay of $16 per hour. Eastside Nursing & Rehab’s dietary department provides timely food service to meet residents’ needs. Working under the Food Service Supervisor or Cook, the aide prepares and delivers meal service, maintains kitchen cleanliness and equipment, and follows dietary procedures and infection-control practices to support residents and facility operations.

What you'll do

• Set up trays and food-service carts
• serve and bus trays
• pour and cover beverages
• assist with preparing, covering, and labeling food
• clean work areas and kitchen equipment
• operate the dishwasher and manage dish flow
• sort and store clean dishes
• report equipment problems
• attend food-service training
• follow infection-control procedures and residents’ rights.
