The Director of Minimum Data Set (MDS) Registered Nurse role is onsite in Leesburg, VA, with compensation of $49–$52 per hour. Loudoun Rehabilitation and Nursing Center’s skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility relies on this role to lead clinical assessment and reimbursement processes. The director oversees accurate, timely MDS assessments and supports regulatory compliance, interdisciplinary care planning, and reimbursement accuracy under PDPM. The role also guides an MDS nurse, audits documentation, and contributes to survey readiness and quality improvement.

What you'll do

• Oversee completion, accuracy, and timeliness of MDS assessments
• supervise and support one MDS nurse through guidance, auditing, and education
• ensure CMS, state, and federal regulatory compliance
• monitor PDPM case mix and reimbursement accuracy
• coordinate interdisciplinary care plan meetings
• conduct documentation audits
• educate nursing and IDT staff
• support survey readiness, audits, QAPI, and performance improvement.
