Maintenance Technician — Night Shift

The Maintenance Technician — Night Shift role is onsite in Kalamazoo, MI. Starting compensation is $31.61 or more per hour. The position supports Aunt Millie's bakery production facility and its equipment maintenance program. The role exists to keep production equipment operating safely and reliably while reducing unscheduled downtime. The technician troubleshoots and repairs plant systems, supports preventive maintenance, and works with production, sanitation, engineering, and maintenance teams to sustain food production.

What you'll do

• Follow company, OSHA, and government safety and food safety requirements, including Lock-out/Tag-out and Good Manufacturing Practices. Support the preventive maintenance program
• troubleshoot PLC-controlled, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• organize the shop using 5S
• use the EAM maintenance system
• communicate job instructions
• and train entry-level technicians and apprentices.

Why this role
