The Canine Coach role is onsite in Arlington Heights, Illinois, for the 6 a.m.–1 p.m. shift. Pay starts at $16 per hour and increases to $17 per hour after the first 90 days of training, with further increases based on tenure and performance. The role supports Dogtopia of Arlington Heights’ dog daycare and care services. The role exists to provide safe, attentive care and enrichment for groups of dogs. Canine Coaches supervise play, encourage positive behavior, maintain a clean and safe environment, and assist with basic grooming so dogs have a positive daycare experience.

What you'll do

• Supervise dogs in open-play rooms
• reward positive behavior and redirect dogs when needed
• manage playroom safety and energy
• lead games and enrichment activities
• keep playrooms clean and safe
• assist with bathing, nail trimming, and basic grooming.
