Direct Support Professional — Awake Overnight

What you'll do

• Provide awake overnight supervision
• follow Individual Support Plans and Behavior Support Plans
• respond to behavioral challenges using approved de-escalation techniques
• assist with hygiene, toileting, and sleep routines as needed
• conduct safety checks
• document observations, behaviors, incidents, and interventions
• administer prescribed medication if certified and in accordance with agency policy
• maintain a clean and safe environment
• communicate overnight events to incoming staff
• follow agency policies, state regulations, and confidentiality standards.
