The Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician role is onsite in Larkspur, CA. The stated pay range is $28–$59 per hour. The technician supports Veterinary Emergency Group’s emergency veterinary hospital, whose mission is to help people and pets when they need care most. The role provides nursing and technical support across emergency cases, from triage through discharge. It contributes to patient care through treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing while supporting pet parents during stressful situations.

What you'll do

• Provide nursing care, treatments, and emotional support from triage to discharge
• administer medications and support monitoring, IVs, CRIs, and blood transfusions
• assist with diagnostics, imaging, sample collection, and tube placement
• perform anesthesia and use advanced techniques such as central lines, endoscopy, and ultrasound
• perform CPR as trained
• collaborate with doctors and the care team.
