What you'll do

• Supervise production, safety, and quality for the shift
• plan daily activities and assign work
• manage staffing coverage
• coordinate production start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers
• respond to production issues and alarms
• ensure safety and environmental procedures and records are followed
• provide required training
• report hazards and incidents and investigate incidents
• record shift productivity
• communicate with plant superintendents
• coach staff and assist with production tasks as needed.
