What you'll do

• Work claim rejections and denials
• submit corrected claims and appeals
• build and submit electronic claims
• stay current on CPT, ICD, and LCD guidelines
• review charts and coding
• check eligibility and benefits
• obtain prior authorizations
• contact patients to verify insurance information
• assist patients with billing inquiries
• reduce unpaid-claim backlogs
• analyze EOBs and ERAs
• post payments
• maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
