Billing Representative — ELS

Compensation is $25–$26 per year. The Billing Representative — ELS role is onsite in Philadelphia, PA; Elwyn is a mission-driven nonprofit supporting people with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and behavioral health challenges. This role supports Early Learning Services preschool early intervention programs. The representative manages Medical Assistance billing, provider payments, and reconciliation to support accurate and compliant program operations. The role works with providers and internal teams to resolve billing issues, maintain data integrity, and ensure timely payment processing.

What you'll do

• Monitor and reconcile provider entries and remittance reports
• audit billed services and payments
• verify Medical Assistance eligibility
• train contractors on the Managed Service Portal
• communicate with providers about billing issues
• generate Medical Practitioner Authorizations
• compile and distribute monthly remittance files
• analyze and correct data inconsistencies.
