Costpoint General Ledger Accountant

Job overview

The Costpoint General Ledger Accountant role is fully remote, working from a home office, with availability required during Monday–Friday business hours of 8:00 AM–5:00 PM in the employee’s time zone. Compensation is $70,000–$80,000 per year. Iuvo Systems provides outsourced accounting, system configuration, implementation, consulting, training, and staff augmentation to government contractors. The accountant supports multiple clients with Costpoint accounting and reporting, including reconciliations, billing, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, time collection, cost allocations, and indirect rates. The work helps clients maintain accurate financial records and meet reporting requirements and deadlines.

What you'll do

• Perform Costpoint accounting duties including billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, time collection, payroll, and journal entries
• handle cost allocations and indirect rates
• complete month- and year-end reconciliations
• review and reconcile project status reports and revenue summaries. Project setup, contract types, Cognos reporting, and incurred cost submission reports are preferred knowledge areas or topics the candidate may learn.
