Machine Operator / Winding Operator — Day and Night Shifts

The Machine Operator / Winding Operator role is onsite in Peru, IN. Pay starts at $17 per hour, with scheduled increases to approximately $19 per hour. The position supports production at a clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing and distribution facility. The operator runs and monitors automated converting and winding equipment, handles materials and finished products, checks product quality, and performs basic maintenance and adjustments. These activities help maintain safe, reliable production and meet quality standards.

What you'll do

• Set up, operate, and monitor high-speed automated manufacturing equipment
• load raw materials
• monitor winding and converting processes
• remove, stack, package, and organize finished products
• perform visual inspections and dimensional checks using calipers, tape measures, and other basic measuring devices
• identify and correct minor equipment issues
• perform basic preventive maintenance and machine adjustments
• maintain an orderly work area
• complete production and quality documentation
• follow plant safety, quality, and operating procedures
• cross-train on equipment and processes as needed.
