Medical Assistant (Float)

What you'll do

• May document provider encounters in the examination room, ensure providers review and sign charts, monitor and respond to voicemails and electronic medical record messages, update patient plans and medical histories, reconcile medication lists, perform pill counts, record vital signs, complete referrals, support prior authorization messages, schedule appointments, and fill in for UDT Processor or Receptionist roles. Requires BLS certification and current influenza vaccination
• two years of clinic experience is preferred. Work hours are expected to include 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• occasional overtime may be required. Frequent travel is required.
