First-Shift Production Bottle Packager

Job overview

The First-Shift Production Bottle Packager role is onsite in Detroit, MI. Pay is $19 per hour. The position is a contract-to-hire opportunity through Apex Placement and Consulting with a partner company’s packaging team. The packager operates the production line, checks product quality, packs and labels finished goods, and prepares cases and pallets for shipping. The work supports safe, efficient packaging while maintaining product integrity and required labeling.

What you'll do

• Load and feed empty glass bottles and aluminum cans onto conveyors
• pack finished products into cases or bulk containers
• inspect fill levels, closures, labels, and capsule covers and remove nonconforming products
• verify case labels, barcodes, timestamps, and compliance markings
• secure cases and stack and shrink-wrap pallets
• clean and sanitize stations, conveyors, equipment, and tools
• follow facility safety, sanitation, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
