What you'll do

• Administer IVs and run fluids for the intravenous process
• monitor client responses to treatment
• manage and prevent infections
• assess physical health, including vital signs and mental status
• identify contraindications to intravenous therapy
• take vital signs as needed
• document client interactions, communications, assessments, and treatment responses or reactions.
